Turtle Rock | Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake 100% Walkthrough "17/22" (No Commentary)

In this part, we enter the 8th (and final) Dungeon of the game, Turtle Rock. At the end we take on the Boss, Hot Head and defeat it to claim the Thunder Drum! We also find our 30th Piece of Heart by exiting the Dungeon via a stairwell located within the Dungeon. After grabbing the Piece of Heart, we can also access another teleporter nearby. After clearing the Dungeon, we head back to Mabe Village and play the Trendy Game to get the Pokey Figure, we then place it in the large families house.

Boss: Hot Head - 25:16

Hot Head's Attacks:

Hot Head will constantly jump in and out of the lava, and upon doing so, will send a shockwave of attacks in all four corner directions. After hitting it with the Magic Rod, it will bounce around the room and may ram into you.

Strategy:

To fight Hot Head, use the Magic Rod when it jumps directly in front of you to damage it. After a set amount of damage it will break out of it's shell, but the process remains the same. Make sure you watch your footing as you can easily fall in the lava yourself.

- Notes -

- The only time you need to fight the Dodongo Snakes Mini-Boss is at 14:03 from the upper ledge. If you try fighting them while on the same elevation as them, the chest will despawn upon leaving the dungeon to reach it.
