Catfish's Maw | Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake 100% Walkthrough "11/22" (No Commentary)

In this part, we enter the 5th Dungeon of the game, Catfish's Maw. At the end we take on the Boss, Slime Eel and defeat it to claim the Wind Marimba!

Slime Eel's Attacks:

Slime Eel's Tail will constantly be swinging around the arena in a circle while trying to hit you. Every few second Slime Eel will poke it's head out of one of the four holes and will bite the area in front of it. Lastly, while trying to pull Slime Eel out of the walls, you may pull out a fake that will thrash around and eventually self-destruct.

Strategy:

To fight Slime Eel, you must stay on either the left or righrt sides of the room to avoid it's sweeping tail. Next, wait until Slime Eel pokes it's head out of a hole on your side of the room, and grab it with the Hookshot once it opens it's mouth. The farther you're away from it when you hook it, the farther you'll pull it out, meaning the more damage you can do to it's pink weak spot before it retracts back into the wall. If you pull out a fake, just back yourself into a corner and put your shield up.

- The Mini Boss, Master Stalfos, will appear in four different rooms in the dungeon. You will need to fight him in all four rooms and in order. There will be green tiles in each room he can appear in and how many there are shows which room it is. You'll fight him first in the room with one green square, and last in the room with four green squares. To fight him, wait until he winds up for an attack, then hit him with your sword to drop him to a pile of bones. While he's in a pile, quickly drop a Bomb on him to damage him. When you damage him three times, he'll run away. You'll need to defeat in in all four rooms to get the dungeon item!
