White Water Rafting | Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake 100% Walkthrough "12/22" (No Commentary)
In this part, we start by heading to the fishing pond and notice a light glowing on the water (this requires luck for it to show up), this signals that a rare fish is in the pond so we head in to catch it. It turns out to be a Blooper and in order to catch it, we must stop reeling if it breaches the surface of the water, then return to reeling once it moves back underwater. Since this Blooper qualifies as a very large fish, we get our 34th Secret Seashell and since we caught a Blooper in general, we get the Heavyweight Lure. Afterwards, we catch another Blooper, but this time it's the Blooper Figure in the Trendy Game, afterwards, we place it in the old man's house. Afterwards, we enter the Item Shop and buy our 21st Piece of Heart (which we've been eyeing for some time now), for 200 Rupees. Next, we move into the Mysterious Forest, and now that we have the Hookshot, we finally enter the log tunnel blocked by boulders and get our 22nd Piece of Heart. From here, we teleport to Martha's Bay on the Animal Village side and head over to the Mermaid Statue using the Hookshot, we use our Scale on it to open an underground passage leading to the Magnifying Lens. Returning to Animal Village, we enter the far back house to find a Zora we couldn't see before and receive our 35th Secret Seashell from it. We then head behind the houses and bomb the cracked wall to get to our 23rd Piece of Heart with some tricky bomb usage (you can either toss a bomb from the gap like I did, our equip bombs and the bow and press them both at the same time to shoot a Bomb Arrow). Next, we teleport to the Seashell Mansion and head north to Richard's Castle. We head left from the drawbridge and use the Hookshot to cross the gap and find our 36th Secret Seashell in a Chest. Moving on, we teleport to Martha's Bay and head west to get to the Beach. We find a bombable wall and can finally see the creature inside. It will trade us the Boomerang for whichever item we have set to our B button (only certain items work). After receiving the Boomerang, we can buy back our other item for 300 Rupees. After passing a little time in the village, we check the fishing hole for another rare fish and catch a Cheep Cheep (again luck matters here in getting one to show up). To catch a Cheep Cheep, we must stop reeling when it jumps out of the water, and return when it's back in the water. For catching a Cheep Cheep, we receive our 37th Secret Seashell. Moving on, we teleport back to Animal Village and head north from the entrance along the cliffs. We end up at the Ancient Ruins and find our 38th Secret Seashell in an underground passage by moving a specific Armos Statue. Afterwards, we enter the building at the end and defeat the guardian inside by using spin attacks in order to get the Face Key. We then read the relief in the back room to understand exactly what's going on. From here, we leave the Ancient Ruins and move north through a rock garden to find our 39th Secret Seashell under one of the rocks. Moving further north, we cross the river and enter a cave to get our 24th Piece of Heart (Be careful not to fall or you'll have to take the long way back to this cave). We then exit the cave and do some rafting (read below) for our 40th and 41st Secret Seashells, and our 25th and 26th Pieces of Heart. Lastly, we make our way to the 6th Dungeon.

- Notes -

- The Magnifying Lens is the final item in the Trade Route. It allows us to see things we couldn't see before, such as invisible enemies in the previous room, an invisible Zora in Animal Village, and the ability to read the black book back in Mabe Village's Library.

The Rafting section of the game is split in two portions. The Rafting Raid is meant to be used to farm for rupees with the Roc's Feather and Hookshot, it can also be played to find the hidden Secret Seashell and Piece of Heart on the islands in the course. The Rafting Race can be played to rush through the course as quickly as possible for rewards. Moving quick enough can reward you with yet another Secret Seashell (under 35 seconds) and Piece of Heart (under 40 Seconds), and possibly even a Chamber Stone (under 30 seconds).
