Genie's Attacks:
Genie will pause for a moment before tossing a series of fireballs at us. After finishing, it will move back inside its bottle and hop after us for a bit. After destroying it's bottle, it will attempt to confuse us with an illusion before suddenly appearing and tossing a large fireball at us. After tossing the large fireball, it will rush us with punches.
Strategy:
To fight Genie, we need to first dodge all of its fireballs. Once it enters its bottle, we must slash the bottle to stun it, then pick up the bottle and toss it into the wall to damage it. After doing so, we repeat the process two more times until the bottle breaks. After the bottle breaks, Genie will create an illusion of tow of it quickly spinning around us for a moment. Afterwards, it will suddenly appear and toss a large fireball at us which we should run away from until it lands on the ground. Afterwards, we can slash at Genie while it tries to punch us to damage it. After a few slashes it will go down for another win.
- Notes -
- The Nightmare Key for this dungeon requires us to defeat all the enemies in the room in a specific order, said order was revealed by an earlier Owl Statue. We must defeat the Pol's Voice first (the rabbit like creature), the Keese (Bat) second, and the Stalfos (Robed Skeleton) last. Note: Pol's Voice can only be killed by throwing an object at them, or another method in the future.
- The Secret Medicine is only sold by Crazy Tracy. It's effect is the same as a fairy in other Zelda games, as it will instantly revive you if you were to die (Note: Fairies will NOT revive you in this game). The price for the Secret Medicine varies, but it's definitely worth it!
